Mumbai 18th 2017: Enterprise Solutions have emerged as solution to manage organization’s resources in an organized and integrated manner. These solution help the day to day departmental activities like making the data available at the right time and making it available accurately.

Equivalently industries are adding new ideas to Enterprise Solutions, like Esri India has presented another unique innovation “Esri’s ArcGIS” at the Aegis Graham Bell Award Jury Round under the “Innovative Enterprise Solution” category.

About the innovation: Realizing the potential of geospatial technology, the Telecom Company became an early adopter of ArcGIS technology, implementing it in several of its businesses. The use of the ArcGIS platform was preordained by them . An enterprise-level GIS was implemented by the company, spanning multiple departments and thousands of users including planners, engineers, field workers and decision makers. The highly experienced GIS team designed the system architecture, geospatial data structure and application framework especially suited to the telecom industry so that ArcGIS became one of the foundation layer application platforms for the organization’s business. The solution also ensured the implementation of telco-specific, end-to-end workflows that resulted in a systematic build-up of data and only incremental effort at each stage. The GIS was integrated with the company’s IT systems such as SAP ERP, CRM, BSS, the Document Management System, and telecom specific applications. A majority of the solutions implemented were ArcGIS Server-based web applications or mobile apps that used the Esri SDK.

“Would like to thank Aegis Graham Bell team for shortlisting Esri India and giving us an opportunity to present our software capabilities to the esteemed jury members. Indian telecom industry has been setting new benchmarks globally by implementing innovative technology solutions.
