Massive MIMO, the latest technological advancement from Huawei has been recognized globally and India as a solution that can potentially increase spectrum efficiency by five to seven times, enhancing intensive coverage and user experience. The solution can greatly improve 4G network spectral efficiency and help effectively handle any capacity challenges encountered during rapid mobile development, which India is experiencing at the moment. Massive MIMO is considered the best technology to boost spectrum efficiency and is one of the key solutions for Huawei’s 4.5G/5G Evolution. It is also the first step towards 5G as it is effectively used in 4.5G LTE network taking LTE network to Gigabit speed and make it 5G ready.

CloudAIR is an innovative radio network solution that offers spectrum cloudification that allows different radio access technologies to share spectrum resources dynamically. Compared with traditional static allocation schemes, CloudAIR allocates fundamental and precious air interface resources which includes spectrum, power and channel, in a dynamic scheme according to traffic demand or mobile user location. This helps mobile operators significantly improve their network spectral efficiency, capacity and user experience. This solution shares static resource allocation to specific radio technologies to dynamic sharing on demand.
