How TAMES Works

Figure 1 illustrates a high-level overview of TAMES. The process begins with a seed subject line provided by the marketer, along with demographic information about the target audience. These inputs are combined to create a prompt, which is fed into the Generative AI engine. The engine generates multiple subject line variants, each tailored to the specified demographic.

The system then evaluates these variants using predefined scoring criteria. The marketer can review the scores, select a preferred variant, and use it in the marketing email sent to customers.

Figure 2 details the scoring criteria used in TAMES. Initially, the quality score is calculated as an equally weighted average of the different criteria. However, as customer responses to the emails are collected, the system dynamically adjusts the weights of these criteria.
