Amidst these changes in the market, Ramboll has presented an innovation ‘Tubular Towers’ at the Aegis Graham Bell Award Jury Round under the ‘Innovative Telecom Product/Solution’ category. With Ramboll’s Tubular Profile tower, the use of tower structural steel and foundation is 20 ~ 30% less than legacy towers. Rapid deployment of newer infrastructure to cater for the growing demand also means an increase in the CO₂ emissions, negatively affecting the environment. Ramboll’s tubular profile tower requires less material than a legacy tower thereby significantly reducing the CO₂ emissions. The team from Ramboll also presented their camouflage portfolio, which enhances the aesthetics of the surroundings apart from being highly functional.
