For solar panels, the manufacturers state in their specification sheet the efficiency, under standard test conditions or theoretical efficiency, is 20 to 22%. This means that sun rays should be 90 degrees and panel temp has to be 25 deg Celsius. That doesn’t happen all the time. So under normal conditions, efficiency is limited 15 to 18%.
To maintain optimum output, regular maintenance & cleaning is required to remove Oil, Grime, dust bird droppings which is a recurring cost
Third issue is the degradation of panels and its life which means that after 12 to 15 years, panels must be replaced and it is big investment cost.
We have developed solid state NANO coating made of inorganic/ceramic/oxide material and applied by electro deposition process with 3 main properties : Light trapping, Self-cleaning, Anti reflection Our coating is applied on top glass surface of panels thereby increasing surface area and creating micro structure similar to amazon raintree forest. Our 0.4 micron coating, thinner than human hair, traps light and directs it to underlying silica cells, generating more power and energy. Due to unique microstructure, particles like dust, oil, grime, and bird droppings don’t stick to coated surface and can be easily cleaned with high pressure air, soft brush, or rain.
We reflect the light in IR range wavelength, thereby reducing the cell temperature and thus reducing panel degradation.
Our Nano Coating optimizes any solar panel’s performance (irrespective of its brand, make, type, age or location), increasing energy output by 4%, extending panel life by 2-3 years, and reducing cleaning needs by 55%.
